Optical Spectrum Analyzer using a 45° tilted fiber grating

Abstract

We report an optical spectrum analyzer utilizing direct side-tapping by a 45° tilted fiber grating. The angular dispersion is analyzed and 45° is found to give highest dispersion. High resolution up to 0.13nm was obtained.
