Abstract

An optically tunable photonic fractional temporal differentiator using a tilted-fiber-Bragg-grating written in an erbium/ytterbium co-doped fiber is proposed. The temporal differentiation of a Gaussian pulse with a bandwidth of 28 GHz is demonstrated.
