Femtosecond Maker Fringe measurement of discrete non-linearities in poled multi-layer silica structures

Abstract

In this presentation the use of femtosecond pulses to produce Maker Fringes in poled silica structures is studied. The impact of the discrete nature of the non-linearity in multi-layer structures is modeled.
