Prolific Rogue Wave States in the Coupled Hirota Equations

Abstract

Two families of rogue wave solutions of the coupled Hirota equations are presented, exhibiting prolific dynamics beyond the reach of the scalar NLS equation. These isolated peaks may offer the possibility for modeling realistic extreme events.
