Multi-functionality in Glasses Managed at the Micrometer Scale by an Imprinting Thermo-electrical Process

Abstract

An imprinting thermo-electrical process has been developed to pattern chemical, electrical and optical properties on various adapted glassy materials. Results obtained on amorphous niobate films demonstrate χ(2) susceptibilities comparable to a LiNbO3 single crystal.
