Small-Spot Direct UV Written Fiber Bragg Gratings in Index-Guiding Photonic Crystal Fiber

Abstract

A method for the UV writing of Bragg gratings in germanium doped photonic crystal fiber is presented. This technique uses small-spot direct UV writing to generate transmission spectra at 1550nm.
