Deep Neural Network for Digital Backpropagation in Few-Mode Optical Fibers

Abstract

We propose a deep neural network for compensation of linear and nonlinear interactions in few-mode fibers. We demonstrate that the network can handle six LP modes of an optical fiber with high accuracy.
