High resolution ultrasound imaging & tissue characterization

Abstract

High frequency ultrasound (20-200 MHz) can be utilized for morphological in-vivo imaging (eyes, skin, vessels) with spatial resolution down to 10 µm, for functional imaging (microcirculatory flow), and for tissue characterization.
