Abstract
The healing patterns of large volume interstitial thermal coagulation lesions (4.6±0.6×3.5 ± 7 cm) produced in goat breasts were evaluated pathologically from 0 to 84 days after treatment. Healing progressed slowly from the periphery to the center with replacement of the solid coagulum with fibrous scar tissue. The lesions became smaller (2.5 cm.) after 28 days.
