Ultrahigh Resolution Optical Coherence Tomography for Quantitative Measurement of Retinal Architectural Morphology

Abstract

We demonstrate an ultrahigh resolution OCT system capable of 1-3 pm resolution. Retinal architectural morphology is visualized and quantified in humans and in animal models. This promises to improve diagnosis and tracking of retinal diseases.
