Endogenous Fluorescence Monitoring In Vivo as an Assay for Cellular Damage in Photodynamic Therapy

Abstract

The endogenous fluorescence signal attributed to NADH is decreased in response to photodynamic damage to cells and tissues [1]. This is being developed as a dosimetry tool to provide a direct measure of in vivo dose deposition.
