Abstract

In this work we report on a clinical study involving measurements on 80 human proximal interphalangeal (PIP) finger joints, which were affected to different degrees by rheumatoid arthritis. Using ultrasound images as gold standard we evaluated the performance of seven different classifiers derived from sagittal optical tomographic images.
