Abstract

An accompanying report demonstrates marked enhancement of reconstructed 3D diffuse optical tomographic images, via a straightforward spatial deconvolution operation. Here, the method’s performance is evaluated quantitatively; for convenience, two-dimensional test media are considered initially.
