An Optical Method for Assessing Angiogenesis: Preliminary Results

Abstract

Anti-angiogenic therapy inhibits the creation of new blood vessels by tumors. These drugs reduce the permeability of tumor blood vessels. We propose an optical method for quantifying changes in vessel permeability to evaluate anti-angiogenic agents.
