Characterizing of tissue by dispersion induced chirping in optical coherence tomography

Abstract

A grating based delay line is controlled to induce dispersion in optical coherence tomography imaging. The spatial frequency of chirping signal indicates that might provide additional diagnostic information about tissue, presumable through the uncertainty principle.
