Abstract
We introduce a transport-theory-base multi-spectral inverse method for direct recovery of the spatial distributions of chromphores inside biomedical tissues. To illustrate the code’s performance, we present numerical studies and first results from experiments on tumor bearing mice. It is shown that the spectrally-constrained direct method produces physically more accurate results than the conventional two-step approach.
