In vivo second-harmonic-generation imaging of dermal collagen fiber using a mode-locked Cr:Forsterite laser

Abstract

We applied a mode-locked Cr:Forsterite laser with a center wavelength of 1250 nm for second-harmonic-generation (SHG) imaging to increase a probing depth, and demonstrated optical-sectioning SHG imaging of dermal collagen fiber.
