Engineering of a Line-Scanning Confocal Microscope Toward Imaging Epithelial Tissues

Abstract

A confocal reflectance line-scanning microscope provides optical sectioning of 1.4 µm and shows promise to image nuclear and cellular detail in human tissues. Line-scanning may be a simpler alternative to point-scanning for imaging epithelial tissues.
