Image Reconstruction in Optical Tomography Using the Finite Element Solution of the Radiative Transfer Equation

Abstract

Optical tomography image reconstruction problem is solved using regularized least-squares method. Light transport is modelled with the frequency domain radiative transfer equation which is solved with the finite element method.
