Nonlinear Imaging of Intrinsic Tissue Contrast with a Fiberoptic Scanning Endomicroscope

Abstract

We present a flexible fiberoptic scanning endomicroscope with a 2-mm diameter and a 32-mm rigid length capable of imaging two-photon excitation fluorescence from intrinsic fluorophors and second harmonic generation from non-centerosymmetric molecules.
