Third-Harmonic Generation Microscopy For Label-Free Brain Imaging

Abstract

We demonstrate high-resolution live brain tissue imaging without fluorescent dyes, using third-harmonic generation. Targeted patching of living neurons is demonstrated, and label-free images of fixed human brain tissue have been obtained.
