Abstract

GPU based acceleration of incoherent Fourier hologram capture technique using integral imaging is reported. Using integral imaging, it is possible to capture hologram of a real-existing three-dimensional object under incoherent illumination. However, signal processing involved in the technique requires heavy computational load, reducing processing speed. The digital reconstruction of a generated hologram at various distances is also computationally expensive. In this report, we use GPU to generate and reconstruct the hologram with significantly reduced time.
