Abstract

The Grüneisen Parameter (Γ) Analyzer, a device that can measure the energy conversion efficiency of biological samples in a photoacoustic system, is calibrated using aqueous ink dilutions. Validation of the analyzer gives Γethanol = 0.72 ± 0.06.
