Determination of Porphysome Nanovesicle Structural Fate Using Förster Resonance Energy Transfer

Abstract

Porphysomes are efficient transducers of photothermal energy. A strategy to monitor the in vivo fate of porphysomes is presented. Incorporation of a FRET acceptor into porphysomes allows for determination of the optimal photothermal treatment time.
