Abstract

Photothermal optical coherence tomography (PT-OCT) is a rapidly emerging coherence domain imaging modality for molecular targeted imaging applications. Here, we introduce an integrated intravascular PT-OCT (IV PT-OCT) system based on a spectral domain OCT system and demonstrate the system capability for detecting single wall carbon nanotubes (SWNT) in a tissue-mimicking phantom.
