Abstract
A phenomenon called “trap split” was found when gold nanoparticles were trapped by linear polarized femtosecond laser pulses. The trap split was strongly dependent on the polarization of trapping laser, besides the energy and wavelength of the laser pulses. The behaviors of trapped particles under various vector femtosecond laser pulses were investigated.
