Reduced speckle in swept source optical coherence tomography by using high numerical aperture fibers

Abstract

Speckle noise is common to all coherent imaging techniques. By utilizing a higher numerical aperture fiber in sample path of the interferometer, speckle noise is reduced in recorded optical coherent tomography images.
