Abstract

The nove1 therapeutic approaches such as gene therapy increase the need of quantitative methods to evaluate the progression of muscular dystrophy (MD) disease. Non invasive near infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) might play an important role in the evaluation of muscle tissue function.
