Abstract

In this paper we demonstrate the use of Raman spectroscopy to determine the concentration of acetonitrile (CH3CN) dispersed in a water/Intralipid scattering medium. We compare techniques for extracting quantitative information from Raman spectra taken in highly scattering media. This technique has potential for use in noninvasive, in vivo biomedical sensing.
