Enhancement of Contrast Agent Images Using Spectral Fluorescence Difference

Abstract

Differences between the native tissue emission and the contrast agent dye emission were measured and used to select fingerprint wavelengths for imaging. The image quality of contrast-agent-dyed tissues was significantly enhanced using spectral fluorescence difference imaging method.
