Parallel three-dimensional diffuse optical tomography

Abstract

Three-dimensional diffuse optical tomography is a computationally intensive procedure. An iterative perturbative algorithm is followed and parallelized. The results show that three-dimensional images can be reconstructed on realistic time scales compared to the synchronous approach.
