Parallelization of gradient-based iterative image reconstruction scheme

Abstract

To increase the speed of gradient based iterative image reconstruction schemes we have implemented parallel execution algorithms on a heterogeneous cluster of workstations. A dynamic and a static process allocation scheme are introduced and discussed.
