Optical Coherence Tomography for Enhanced Detection of Drosophila Neural Activity

Abstract

Fluorescence was used to guide examination of changes in OCT intensity in an excised Drosophila brain during well-characterized patterns of activity, demonstrating the potential of OCT for label-free optical detection of neural activity.
