An initial study of genetic demyelinating mouse brain using Terahertz spectroscopy

Abstract

A novel study on using terahertz spectroscopy to distinguish between normal and demyelinated paraffin-embedded brain samples obtained from wide type and transgenic mouse. Results show distinction in THz absorption and refraction in myelin deficit brain.
