Changes in lymph node metastasis patterns after surgical removal of a popliteal lymph node in mice

Abstract

We demonstrated that surgical removal of a lymph node (LN) in mice causes changes in lymphatic drainage patterns via preexisting collateral or reconnected lymphatic vessels, which correspond to changes in the patterns of LN metastases.
