Optoacoustic tomographic imaging of myelinated structures in rodent brains

Abstract

Myelinated structures in rodent brains were identified using multispectral optoacoustic tomography; exploiting the 930 nm lipid absorbance maximum. Results support optoacoustic imaging as an inventigative tool for rodent models of multiple sclerosis.
