In vivo long-term cortical photoacoustic microscopy using ultrasound-sensitive chronic cranial window

Abstract

We report an ultrasound-sensitive cranial window integrated with a highly sensitive micro-ring resonator ultrasound detector. We demonstrated implantation of the functional cranial window in mice and performed long-term intravital photoacoustic microscopy of cortex vasculature.
