Comparison of brain tissue structures on histological slides and fluorescence microscopy images

Abstract

In neurosurgery, histological examination is the standard to evaluate tissue’s nature, but it is time-consuming. Fluorescence and SHG imaging could be an intraoperative solution. In this work, typical histological structures were found in fluorescence-SHG images.
