Deep Learning-based Virtual Refocusing of Fluorescence Microscopy Images for Neuron Imaging in 3D

Abstract

We demonstrate a deep neural network-based virtual refocusing method for fluorescence microscopy, which enables accurate tracking of C. elegans neuron structure and activity in 3D using an image acquired at a single focal plane.
