Abstract
An experimental multifunctional set-up has been developed to perform pho-tothermal therapy in mice brain with blood-brain barrier opening by focused ultrasound sonication and in situ temperature monitoring with photoacoustic imaging. Additionally, a multiphysics numerical plateform has been set up to simulate the experiments in silico, in a highly realistic situation. These two tools help to identify the important parameters involved in the efficiency of a photothermal treatment.
