Abstract

A pulsed laser system for high-resolution spectroscopy in the vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) region below 100 nm will be reported. Results will be presented on studies of the spectra of Xe and Kr in the wavelength region between 90 and 100 ran using tunable narrowband (<0.2-cm~1) coherent radiation.
