Abstract
The photophysical properties of Photofrin II supplied by Oncology Research & Development, Cheektowaga, N.Y. are Investigated in water, tetrahydrofuran, and methanol solutions. This substance, which contains the most aggregated components of hematoporphyrin derivative, was reported to be mainly responsible for the in vivo photosensitization of tumor tissues.1
