High-speed drilling by YAG laser

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

To achieve a high-quality laser beam output from a high-repetition YAG laser, the thermal distortion and mode competition of the rod must be considered. A telescope cavity type is adopted to increase mode volume, achieve a thermally stable cavity, and raise the efficiency.
