Abstract
To improve the SNR of a plastic optical disk, on- land recording has been examined.1 By using on- land recording, additional advantages are confirmed, such as the decrease of crosstalk signal level from adjacent track and irrelavance of the groove depth to the signal level. The latter advantage makes groove depth optimization easy.
