Design and simulated performance of a CARS spectrometer for dynamic temperature measurements

Abstract

We report the simulated performance of a newly designed CARS spectrometer for temperature measurements. Simulations of the spectrometer’s performance indicate that this system has potential advantages over those currently used. These advantages include real-time measurements of the sample’s temperature and a higher data collection rate.
