Abstract

Beta barium borate (BBO) has recently emerged as new nonlinear material for harmonic generation.1-3 Its particularly wide range of transparency from the UV to the near infrared and high damage threshold has led to a number of applications.3 One application which has received little attention is that of an electrooptic modulator.
