Abstract

Minute vibrations and strains of the earth are being measured by a long-distance laser Interferometer.1 Since Feb. 1983, it has been installed in an underground optical tunnel (Fig. 1). The periodicity and correlation are analyzed by measuring the change of temperature and precipitation.
