Abstract
Recently there has been increasing interest in the studies of the optical nonlinearities of ZnSe1,2 because of its potential in the application of nonlinear optical devices. We report the observations of temporal and spatial nonlinear effects in polycrystalline ZnSe at room temperature with nanosecond laser pulses near the band gap.
