Abstract

This discharged pumped XeCl laser is preionized by the x-rays produced by a secondary emission electron gun described elsewhere.1,2 The x-ray dose is determined by the electron gun voltage (EGV), which can be adjusted up to 150 kV. In this set of experimental results, we have tried to increase the total x-ray dose despite a lost of its uniformity.
