Abstract

Recently, the short-wavelength coherent radiation lain in visible range has attracted wide attention.1–5 In this paper two new channels based on twice nonlinear frequency conversions of 1079.5 nm (W1) and 1341.4 nm (W2) double-wavelength Nd:YAP lasers6 have been reported to get 413.7 nm (W3) violet coherent radiation in LiIQ3 crystal. They are W1 + W2 ⇀ (W1 + W2) + W2 ⇀ W3 and W2 + W2 ⇀ 2W2 + W1 ⇀ W3.
